Summer is here and we're ready for lots of sunshine, beach days, and picnics! What better drink to sip with family and friends than a refreshing summer sangria? Our BOSS growler will keep it cold up to 150 hours. And no that’s not a typo - seriously 150 hours (that’s 6 days). Just make sure to fill it up with lots of ice! We’re sharing our office-favorite sangria recipe created by our very own Chris Graaf! Fill your EcoVessel BOSS growler with this refreshing sangria and take it with you on your next beach day or picnic and we promise you won’t be disappointed.
Ingredients:
- 1 Bottle of Spanish Red Wine
- ½ Cup of Brandy
- ¼ Cup of Triple Sec
- ¼ Cup of Granulated White Sugar
- ¼ Cup of Light Brown Sugar
- 5 Strawberries, Sliced
- ¾ Cup of Whole Blackberries
- ½ Large Orange, Sliced
- ½ Large Granny Smith Apple, Cubed
- ¼ Teaspoon of Salt
Directions:
1) Add sliced and cubed fruit to a large bowl with the brown sugar, granulated white sugar and salt. Mix well. Let the mixture sit for a few hours at room temperature.
2) In the EcoVessel Boss Growler, add the fruit mixture along with the wine, brandy and triple sec. Close the lid and shake well.
3) Fill the remaining space with ice, clip in the Boss Growler’s infuser, and the sangria is ready!
4) Pour servings out of the small mouth opening with the infuser attached to enjoy cold, refreshing, pulp-free sangria on the go!
